Thanks to the small but handsome group of folks who attended our meeting in May. We talked casually around a comfortable table and hopefully learned a few things and got inspired to be at work the next day. Thanks as well for Louisville Web Group for sponsoring! I'd like to be a bit more prepared for June and figure out meeting topics, presentations if possible, etc.
If anyone has topics they'd like to see covered specifically, please speak up. There was some discussion about Facebook Connect the other night and I'd be willing to talk a bit more about that if people were interested as we've recently worked on a few FBC enabled sites. Perhaps a good time to also have others discuss the use of OpenID or other similar services to bridge/enable sites with 3rd party gateways and APIs.
I also thought about: discussions of Progressive Enhancement; writing on the web (there are a few in the group who maintain blogs/journals) and how to succeed; maintaining sites with version control (other solutions besides SVN and cover SVN for those new to the concept);
I'll also throw out a quick link to some of Bryan's suggestions previously posted as well: http://www.refreshlouisville.org/forums/topic.php?id=66
