    A couple of weeks ago the LGDA had a lunch and learn with lawyers to discuss copyright laws and contracts. The contract lawyer suggested that regardless of the scope of the project you should always have something signed by both parties even if it is just hand written. A paper trail is really your best defense. She also suggested that if you can have a lawyer write your general/initial copy for proposals and reuse.

    Glad you didn't have to take action though!
