Jeremy Keith posted his slides from the Carsonified HTML5 Online Conference happening today. Nice little run down of some tag changes I wasn't aware of and overall good guide.

This is just another great step in the right direction. With the majority of Salesforce users likely on Windows machines and many of them relying on Salesforce to run their business this will likely create a big push. I don't know that it will be earth shattering, but I like seeing a business moving this way that will likely have a huge impact on others, not just a gentle nudge.

To spark a little discussion, I'm wondering what's everyone's thoughts on Google Chrome Frame? http://code.google.com/chrome/chromeframe/

Since it came up earlier, and I am probably preaching to the choir for the most part, I see a huge distinction between working toward building standards when developing for the web (or anything) and being exclusive. It is a collaborative effort and the only thing it strives to exclude is bad practice. Ultimately, it makes everyone's experience better.

For example, think of how much easier this post would have been to digest if it were not composed of run on sentences and I knew my standards better for writing in my native language.

i'm arguing some seriously basic usability concepts with people that don't seem to get it over at iStockphoto.com. If you'd like to chime in, are a member, etc, back me up!
